Maileg (pronounced My’lye) has always held space within The Find North. From day one, we've been charmed by the imaginative and thoughtfully designed collection of toys. The world of Maileg, designed by Danish designer and illustrator Dorthe Mailil, enchants both young and old, thanks its timeless concepts, cohesive color palettes and fine details. Each piece is made to blend with the next, building into a magical universe of make believe.
Collectors know each piece is special, and the range is always expanding in new and fun ways (we giggled when we first spotted the toilet). We often suggest starting a child's own collection with a Sleepy/Wakey Mouse or the Tooth Fairy Mouse (complete with a special tooth box) and building from there. Grandmothers have been known to build their own collection for their grandchildren to make memories with when visiting, adding an extra special element and meaning to their imaginative play. These pieces often become treasured family heirlooms that easily pass from one generation to the next, and we're happy to play a small part in creating such darling memories.
